About
Marley Magner is a composer, sound designer, and producer active in many New Media industries including; sound recordings, film, video games, commercials, theatrical trailers, and animation. Since starting his career in 2010 while still attending Berklee College of Music, he has composed original scores for 5 short films, 3 corporate videos, one commercially released video game, and 3 independently produced video games. Marley utilizes the "Hybrid Scoring" technique for many projects due to it's efficiency and its popular use by film composers in recent years.
"Hybrid Scoring" is the simultaneous use of live players and computer sequencers to produce an edgy, yet organic sound at a lower cost than traditional orchestral film scoring. It is a cost-effective alternative to large orchestral recording sessions.
